INTP 100 (3) Internship Preparation
This exploratory course prepares students to identify, pursue, and secure an internship experience, providing the opportunity to engage in self-awareness and reflection activities to identify areas of strength and interest. Students will deepen their understanding of essential transferable skills and will gain competencies to prepare for a relevant work experience. (3:0:0)
Prerequisite: Min. "C" in English 12 and permission of Centre for Experiential Learning.
INTP 300 (3) Planning for Upper-Level Internship
Provides opportunities for students to synthesize theoretical knowledge and practical experience within their field of study. By engaging in a variety of self-discovery activities students will identify skills, strengths, interests, values and competencies to inform their search for a relevant and meaningful internship experience. Prerequisite: Min. 54 credits completed, including completion of the Degree English Requirement with min. grade of "B"on each class used towards it.

Students in programs without a specific internship option may identify and pursue a unique opportunity to develop skills and learn more about their chosen field via an unpaid work placement (minimum 120 hours).
